New Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion version is already available in Europe at prices starting at around 21,000 euros. Driven by a 1.6 TDI diesel engine that delivers 105 bhp, the German media is able to travel up to 100km by consuming only 3.8 liters of diesel (about 26 km / liter in combined) and emitting just 99 g / km of CO2.

The excellent operating economy the Golf BlueMotion is due to improved aerodynamics and the adoption of certain technological solutions such as: the system for recovering energy during braking, the system start & stop (which turns off the engine during stops at traffic lights), the indicator on the display that tells the driver the optimum time to make the next gear, tires with low rolling resistance.
