
The new Mercedes E Class cabriolet will be presented officially at the next Detroit Auto Show scheduled in January 2010 to then be sold on all European markets by late spring. The new model will complement the range class and already sees a price 4-door sedan, the station wagon and coupe. Precisely that the new Mercedes E Class cabriolet will be guided by design and technical features, but differing for the presence of cloth convertible top, a bold choice considering the “fashion” of the retractable metal roof. The dimensions are important: 4.70 meters long, 1.79 meters wide and 1.40 meters high in height.
The engine range E-Class cabriolet will be very wide and will run for diesel and gasoline engines for a total of 7 versions, all (accept the most powerful and 500) identified by the initials BlueEFFICIENCY, which is to highlight the many precautions taken to reduction of fuel consumption and emissions. Among the petrol versions include the E 200 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY from 184 hp, the E 250 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY from 204 hp, the E 350 CGI BlueEFFICIENCY from 292 hp and a top range and 500 from well 388 hp, the diesel range includes E 220 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY 170 hp, the E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY from 204 hp and the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY to 231 hp. The price of the Mercedes E-Class convertibles have not yet been disclosed, however, and estimate a reasonable price to start from around 50,000 euros.
