For 2012, Range Rover Evoque as one of the production of the Land Rover brand earned the accolade as the best truck in 2012. For the first time the winner of this award comes from the support car with four-cylinder engine.

To reach the title as the best truck 2012, the Range Rover Evoque competing hard and managed to beat several rivals like the BMW X3 and Honda CR-V. Announcement of the predicate is done at the Detroit Motor Show 2012. The assessment team of this contest is a senior automotive journalist of United States. They finally chose Evoque as the winner after seeing several categories including value for money, innovation, handling, performance, safety, and driver satisfaction.

Range Rover Evoque also included as one of seven U.S. cars for Car of the Year nomination. The winners will be announced at the Geneva motor show next March. For we know that a few years ago the award was won by cars with large engines support such as the Ford Explorer, F-150 and Mazda CX-9.
